Having started by making a one-off Slingshot as a gift for a close friend in 2008, with no intention of making any more, I was contacted by Murray Moss who had gotten word of this slingshot and he was interested in me making an edition for Moss Gallery in New York. The first edition of 30 Slingshots sold out in 10 days and so it began. I have since made hundreds of individually found, hand crafted and unique (no two are alike) Slingshots in editions of never more then thirty. They have been exhibited and sold world wide to variety of galleries, shops and private clients.
The hardwood y-forked branch is selected from fallen trees in English woodlands. They are then hand whittled and shaped, sprayed (each design is unique) and finished with a clear gloss lacquer. The rubber is the highest grade silicone rubber and the pouch is 2.5mm thick Italian leather. Each slingshot is GPS mapped to it’s original location from where it was found it in the woods.
The slingshots on this page are just a small selection. Most are made in editions of 30 and are each numbered and initialed by the maker (me). I also make one-offs and bespoke slingshots, I am happy to discuss any ideas you might have.

Large is 43cm x 58cm and small is 29.5cm x 41cm, all slingshot prints are double mounted ready for framing. This is a limited collection there are only 30 Small Box Sets and 30 Large Box Sets.
Fresh Blood Arts work with a company called The Proofing House Limited one of the last hand printing companies left in Europe. They are a lithographic printing company who have been successfully using this ancient printing method for the past 30 years. Lithographic printing is timeless method of printing where every stage is meticulously produced by skilled craftsmen, inks are mixed by eye and the paper is fed into the press by hand. All this hard work means that the end result will not only be of better quality than the digital printing which is rife in today’s printing world but it will also be unique as no two lithographic prints are exactly the same.
